FiscBay is in active development with a partner accounting practice. Early access is opening to a limited number of firms.

For Romanian accounting firms

Every client. Every deadline. One screen.

We're building practice-management software for Romanian accounting firms: one view of each client's compliance obligations, documents that arrive from clients without chasing, and AI that reads them so your team stops retyping invoices.

Illustration of the planned overview, with sample data. Not a screenshot of the finished product.

The problem

Your accounting software runs the books. Nothing runs the firm.

Romanian accounting programs keep your clients' records. None of them tells you which of your clients is missing documents this month, who on your team owns that client, or what is still open with ANAF. That work lives in spreadsheets, email and WhatsApp.

Meanwhile the reporting load has grown. SAF-T reporting now reaches every taxpayer category. The pre-filled VAT return in SPV has to be checked against each client's own return. Invoices move through e-Factura. More obligations, more often, for every client on your list, and still no system that shows them together.

What we're building

Three parts, one system.

01

A compliance overview

One board showing every client and the obligations open for the current period, each with a status, an owner and the time remaining. Status comes from the work actually recorded in the system, not from someone ticking a box.

  • Filter by deadline, owner, client or obligation type
  • ANAF messages and pre-filled returns tracked per client, through to resolution
  • A record of what was filed, when, and by whom

02

A client portal

Clients upload invoices and receipts from a phone or a browser, see what you still need from them, and respond to items you send for confirmation. You see the status of every request without sending another reminder.

  • Browser-based, so clients can start without installing anything
  • Each client company sees only its own documents
  • Uploads and responses are recorded

03

AI document processing

FiscBay reads uploaded invoices and receipts and extracts the fields your team would otherwise key in by hand, such as supplier, amounts, VAT and dates. It then applies validation checks and flags anything uncertain for human review.

  • Confidence scoring, with low-confidence fields routed to a person
  • Automated checks surface inconsistencies before they travel further
  • Designed to work alongside the accounting programs Romanian firms already use

Built for Romania

Designed around Romanian reporting, not translated into it.

FiscBay is being built around the Romanian filing calendar and ANAF's electronic systems, and around the way Romanian cabinets actually work with their clients. Compliance rules are stored as versioned data rather than written into the code, so when legislation changes, earlier periods keep the rules that applied at the time.

How we work

A small team, a working practice, and AI doing the repetitive build.

FiscBay is developed by an orchestrated fleet of AI coding agents working against a written specification, with automated test gates, independent review and human approval before anything is merged. A partner accounting practice uses each release and decides what gets built next. That combination is how a very small team can build the depth this market needs, instead of a generic tool with a Romanian label.

Approach to data

Client financial data, treated as the sensitive material it is.

Here is how FiscBay is being built:

  • Each firm's data is isolated from every other firm's, and that separation is verified by automated tests on every change.
  • Actions are recorded in an audit trail.
  • Access is role-based, with two-factor authentication.

Hosting, processing and data-protection arrangements will be documented in full before any firm's live client data enters the system.

Early access

In development with a partner firm.

FiscBay is being built alongside a working Romanian accounting practice that uses it daily and shapes the roadmap. We're opening a small number of early-access places for firms who want the same influence over what gets built.

FAQ

Questions firms ask us.

Does FiscBay replace my accounting program?

No. FiscBay is for running the firm, not for keeping your clients' books. It is designed to sit alongside the accounting software you already use.

Is it available now?

Not yet. FiscBay is in development and in daily use at one partner practice. Early-access places are opening gradually.

What will it cost?

Early-access firms take part at no cost during development. Pricing will be published before general availability and is intended for small and mid-sized Romanian firms.

Which accounting programs will it work with?

Integration work follows what our early-access firms actually use. Tell us yours when you get in touch.
